Greenpeace activists dressed as “Ken” dolls hang a huge banner off the Mattel headquarters in Los Angeles. With a clear message to their former girlfriend: “Barbie It’s Over. I Do Not Date Girls Who Are Into Deforestation.” Greenpeace investigators have found that the toymaker Mattel is using packaging made from Asia Pulp and Paper (APP). APP has been exposed many times for wrecking Indonesia’s rainforests to make products such as packaging.
